These Terms govern your use of vendward.com and the What Changed This Week newsletter, operated by Roman Kolesnichenko, an individual entrepreneur registered in Ukraine, operating as Vendward (“we”, “us”). By using the Site or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
1. The service
Vendward publishes information about changes to third-party software tools — license changes, acquisitions, end-of-life notices, and similar — via the Site and a free email newsletter. It is an information service, provided for general awareness.
2. Not professional advice
The content is provided for general informational purposes only and is not legal, financial, security, or procurement advice. We work hard to be accurate and to cite sources, but software licensing and vendor status change quickly and can contain errors. Verify anything important against the primary source (the vendor’s own license, announcement, or documentation) before acting on it. You are responsible for your own decisions.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Site or Digest unlawfully; scrape, resell, or redistribute our content at scale without permission; attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Site; or misrepresent your identity when subscribing. You may share individual issues with colleagues.
4. Intellectual property
The Site, the Digest, and their content, design, and branding are owned by Roman Kolesnichenko or our licensors. Third-party names, logos, and trademarks mentioned (e.g. tool and vendor names) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary only; their mention does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.
5. Email subscription
Subscribing is free. We’ll send you the Digest and occasional related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. We may pause, change, or discontinue the Digest at any time.
6. Third-party links
The Site and Digest link to third-party websites and sources. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and Digest are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roman Kolesnichenko will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the content or your use of (or inability to use) the Site or Digest. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we’ll change the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
